Artist's Statement:
I have been exploring the way in which self and society reach levels of incongruity. Specifically I’ve looked at the way a thing, person, thought or situation can be attractive and repulsive all in the same instant. These moments occur all of the time; within our media, our politics, and our justifications of choice. When faced with eliminating matters that are both attractive and repulsive, to make sense of something that is not, a new identifying process occurs and with that is growth.
