FIRST FRIDAY BOWL BUILDING BONANZA (B.B.B.) at Crossroads, from 5 to 8 PM. Everyone is welcome to come and make bowls. No experience necessary. This is a family friendly event, with local potters on hand to assist in making one-of-a-kind ceramic bowls. The B.B.B. is a pre-fundraising event for “Feed the Arts”.
The wheel thrown bowls will be trimmed and titled “Feed the Arts” or “FTA 2010” and become collector’s items for attendants of the banquet each year. Crossroads will be hosting the event in November, date to be announced at B.B.B., and will be selling tickets for $15, which includes a hand made bowl and dinner. The money raised will benefit the Crossroads Scholarship Fund.
