The 1st Annual Crossing the Blues Juried Exhibition kicks off August 22nd, 2009. The exhibition opens in conjunction with the annual Crossing the Blues Festival held each summer in scenic La Grande, Oregon. The festival begins Friday, August 21st, and ends on Saturday, August 22nd. The Crossing the Blues Festival showcases a wide array of cultural arts from throughout the Northwest; including: fine art exhibitions, musical performances, cinematic screenings, and theatrical productions. NW Artists participate in this two-day rolling schedule. The exchange of creative energy stimulates the summer atmosphere, a convergence of invigorating experiences. Visit the festival
