Dear Arts Friends,

Please join us in accomplishing our goals to improve the accessibility of the arts in Eastern Oregon.

Thanks to our members, we have been able to provide arts programming to more than 9,000 students in Eastern Oregon this past year. Our artist residencies have become more important as public school budgets have eliminated or reduced many school arts programs in our ten-county service area. We are grateful for your previous financial support and your personal commitment to the arts!

Through our arts education programs, professional development opportunities, and regional support to local arts organizations, we provide services to an average of 15,000 people annually. We know there are many ways you contribute to your community and that you are involved in many worthy causes. We count on your support in these times of reduced state funding for the arts. Your tax-deductible membership is essential to ArtsEast's success.

The Oregon Cultural Trust offers you the opportunity to support the arts in a unique way. First, you make a charitable tax-deductible donation to an Oregon non-profit cultural organization such as ArtsEast. Next, you make a matching donation to the Oregon Cultural Trust for a tax credit. For example, if you owe $1,000 in state taxes and you make a $100 matching gift to the Oregon Cultural Trust, you would pay only $900 in taxes. Money donated to the Cultural Trust returns to Eastern Oregon in the form of grants and cash support for each county.
