Artists Residency Program Guide

The Artist-in-Residency (AiR) program is planned, administered, and financed though the cooperative efforts of the regional arts council, ArtsEast and local communities. ArtsEast contracts with artists to teach students art skills in schools and community settings. The activities of the artist may include demonstrations, workshops, performances, teacher in-services, or collaborations with students.

ArtsEast home of Eastern Oregon Regional Arts Council (EORAC) is a non-profit organization serving the arts, arts education and artists living in eastern Oregon. ArtsEast is based in La Grande on the Eastern Oregon University campus and serves Baker, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Malheur, Morrow, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, and Wheeler counties.

If a school or other site wishes to book an artist residency, it must contact the regional arts council, and fill out an application or apply for the residencies on the ArtsEast website: www.artseast.org
